Corporate Recruiter
A Corporate Recruiter is a company representative with the primary responsibility of finding talented individuals to fill open positions within the company. They conduct the process from the stage of locating potential applicants via various sources, such as social media or web-based searches, to interviewing and offering positions to qualified candidates.
REPORTS TO:
Director of Recruiting & Development
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
4 year degree in a relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university or 4 year degree in a non-relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university 1 year of relevant experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS OF THE POSITION:
General:
œ“ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
œ“ Excellent interpersonal skills
œ“ Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices
Software:
œ“ Proficiency in: Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
œ“ Working knowledge of various job search boards
œ“ Thorough understanding of a variety of social media platforms
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
€ Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled
€ Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or
print media for open positions.
€ Identifies talented candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes,
interviews, and other forms of communications
€ Take part in various campus recruiting events and activities
€ Attend various off campus student events throughout the year
€ Maintains constant ****
