Length: open ended contract, some potential if they do a great job!
Start: ASAP
Reason open: person who was originally out on mat leave just gave notice
Pay: up to $19 - BOE. If someone needs more than that let me know
Hours: 8-5, expect some OT on payroll weeks
Dress: Business Casual

Top things:
Personality fit will be big! Other ladies (3-4) in office are outgoing – one is a little quiet. So I’d say someone normal, easy-going, coachable not someone who has an overpowering personality.
DRUG, BACKGROUND, CREDIT – Dig in on these. Credit looks for collections, bankruptcy, garnishments. Will forgive med/student collections.
Must have experience with external payroll software (work day, paychex, ADP, etc)
Push to get subs as soon as you can, so we have time to get interviews and BG/DS/C checks in!

Payroll Specialist / Accounting Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
Full cycle payroll for 100 people
Commission tracking
Payroll auditing
Entering time/labor
Direct deposit payroll
Creating and helping employees with access cards
Journal entries
Reconciliations
GL reporting
Assisting with month-end close
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
2 years of payroll experience
Experience with external payroll software(s)
Proficient in MS Office
Great communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
