Job Overview
Title:
Comp & Benefits Analyst
Daily Duties:
Compensation
Works closely with company leaders to make compensation recommendations using the company’s compensation policies and structure
Develop and draft job descriptions for newly created roles
Assist with executing and maintaining the company’s recognition program
Complete job evaluations and slot newly created roles into salary grades
Conduct internal equity analyses
Work closely with HR Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate pay transactions
Complete market compensation surveys
Administer field career progressions
Use analytics to monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation plans, policies, and administrative procedures
Assist with annual merit and bonus files
Create and maintain job codes in HRIS platform
Assist with performance management module implementation and administration
Benefits
Assist with new hire orientation and trainings regarding employee benefits
Respond to high-level benefit inquiries from employees on claim escalations
Accurately reconcile, adjust, and process all employee per-pay contributions for approval and payment, including 401(k), HSA, deferred comp and voluntary benefits
Prepare monthly benefit premium invoices for approval and payment, and scan documents for retention
Assist in evaluation of employee benefits plans and carriers to ensure quality employee benefit programs; identify employee benefit strategies to attract, and retain talent and to align with company strategies
Prepare and maintain metrics reporting, as needed
Create workflow and documentation for leave of absence and ADA process
Assist with coordinating the health fair and supporting department and companywide activities and events
Assist with open enrollment to include: preparation of open enrollment materials and announcements and conducting benefit meetings and webinars
Annually updates Open Enrollment and Life Event’s in HCM
Assists with 1095’s and 5500 filings
Completes annual 401K True Up and Non-Discrimination Testing
OTHER DUTIES
Project manage consultants and/or compensation and benefits vendors
Assist Senior Director of HR Operations with department projects
Monitor industry and external market; provide analysis on impact of relevant developments in compensation, benefits, employee rewards and recognition
Stay atop of industry trends and compensation-related regulations
Systems:
Excel- V Look Ups and Pivot Tables, Ultipro, Ceridian Dayforce, Payfactors for benchmarking, 401k through a vendor, Discovery Health, Kazoo is rewards/recognition platform Job Details
Hours (flex, OT):
M- F 8- 5 or 7 - 4 2 or 3 days in office then 2 or 3 WFH every Friday remote
Pay Rate:
$75 – 99k
