Job Description:

What’s the role?

As Learning Advisor, you will be part of our team in Shell Jurong Island. And we’ll entrust you to:


Ensure alignment with, and contribution to the global learning strategy and agenda to deliver top-quartile learning via tactical planning & execution with internal/external stakeholders through
Function as Learning Advisor to site’s Functional Support such as Finance, HR, HR Learning, CP, IT, Business Excellence and Health.
Conduct onboarding program for new joiner.
Manage the Learning record analysis and tracking compliance in WorkDay Learning.
Strategize the approach to manage training gap closure with the relevant stakeholder to achieve compliance of >98% at the site population of about 520.
Be the Lead site focal for WorkDay (WD) (Learning Management System) with provision of advice and solution the site on competency training mapping with Alternate Roles in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Be responsible for assuring that LMS (Learning Management System), LCMS (Learning Content Management System), Power BI and features of WD including Alt-Role assignment to individual at site are used effectively to manage, deliver, track and report training compliance/requirement.
Manage LNA (Learning Needs Analysis) for site and ensuring relevant training are delivered/offered for gap closure.
Contribute to joint-up HR at site & country level programme and engagement.
Track site Training budget in accordance with the training budget set on annual basis.
Be the FAM (Fountain Assurance Management) Focal for HR Learning and to ensure action closure to meet the stipulated deadline.
Manage external training provider and Government for training grant amounting to about $100,000 per annum.
On/offboard interns for whole site
Member of ICP Support Unit
Focal of Do It Right The First Time, Drift project.
Process payment requests to training vendors and caterers.
Support the course attendance of participants from registration to completion including collection of certificates where applicable.
Admin support for HR & LS visitors to SJI, or gifts, mails, etc.
Where required, support Bukom Learning with the last 3 abovementioned bullets.
Facilitate courses, e.g. FrontLine Barrier Management Assessor course
Any other responsibilities assigned by LS Manager.


What we need from you

You must have/be:


Familiar with Microsoft tools e.g. Teams, Excel, Power BI etc
Familiar with GSAP systems to process invoices, purchase requisition and order.
Knowledge of Learning Management system WD.
Knowledge of Chemicals and Products Front Line Barrier Management.
Experienced in coordinating teams and/or projects.
Demonstrated communication, facilitation, and coaching/mentoring skills.
Resilience and persistence in driving change and achieving business results.
The ability to influence and work effectively with multiple Stakeholders.
