The role you’ll contribute:
This position is responsible for supporting and implementing Human Resources policy development, revisions and implementation of policy changes for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..
This includes managing the process of researching and writing policies for review/approval consideration, analysis of policy impact and partnering with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. resources for policy communication and implementation. This role understands and articulates key policy issues and their relationship to the operations of the business. This role displays professionalism, strong initiative, willingness, and ability to solve challenges.

Policy Support
Proactively monitor state, local and federal issues, providing research support.
Demonstrate ability to articulate complicated policy and operational issues to internal and external audiences.
Reviews existing facility policies in relationship to any companywide policy changes or additions proposed.
Facilitates new content through the appropriate review and approval process.
Research policy issues, including operational, technological, financial and people impacts.
Leads governance and monitoring of facility HR policies, ensuring alignment with companywide policies and best practices.
Develop and/or contribute to research projects, such as whitepapers and reports.
Leads in special projects and campaigns as assigned.
Partners with appropriate **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. subject matter experts and Centers of Expertise in drafting or revising all policies.
Partners with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. communication teams in developing and deploying communication plans for all policy changes or new policies, which may include internal HR, Leadership, team member broad-based and internal communications, as well as HRSS Contact Center solutions scripts.
Partners with the legal team and HRSS in developing policy support documents, such as releases, agreements and schedules in support of policies.
Oversees the production of the Team Member Handbook. This may include research, writing and coordination of the Handbook publication, as well as developing related presentations, trainings and other communication tools.
Serves as a compliance resource for HR related matters.
Supports change management plans that support new or revised policies when needed, such as training development or other resources.
Department Planning, Activities and System Support
Leads projects/campaigns as requested.
Consistently demonstrate initiative as well as problem-solving, critical thinking and leadership skills.
Leads department initiatives as requested. This includes engaging and communicating with various departments, leaders and team members.
Manages and oversees the development status of HR company-wide and facility policies as they progress through the review and approval process.
Supports senior manager in HiTrust related issues.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, English, business or related field
Two or more years’ experience in writing, Human Resources or related business role
Project management experience
Excellent research and analytical skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Two years’ experience in an HR Generalist or related role, working with Human Resources policies
Master’s degree in Business Administration or other healthcare related field
