The Team:You will  be a crucial team member of the Employee Experience team in HR, reporting to the Senior Manager People Relations , Health & Wellbeing in Amsterdam.The Position: In this role you will be accountable for end to end Employee Relations (ER) management with a focus on consistent treatment of employees across our global business units. You will take the lead and own ER investigations for complex complaints, working closely with Senior Leaders, HR Business Partner and our legal team.  This role will be the Subject Matter Expert on internal ER procedures and work closely with the Senior Manager, Employee Relations, Health & Wellbeing to ensure that the procedures and processes are kept up to date and relevant.  You will develop strong relationships with Senior Leaders, HR Business Partners an Associates at all levels.In addition, the Senior People Relations Specialist will take a pro-active role with our Works Councils for HQ by prioritising topics in cooperation with leadership and acting as a trustworthy person of contact for both the company and the Works Councils.  You will foster good collaboration and bring expert knowledge and monitor trends in labor law changes, updates linked to social relations and will advise on appropriate action to keep the business compliant.Key Responsibilities: Lead and own HR investigations for complex complaints in partnership with Legal and conduct mediation where requiredWork closely with HRBP s to give status updates on relevant cases and agree effective course of actionMaintain required documentation within the ER case management system for advice and investigationsServe as Subject Matter Expert on internal ER procedures. Act as first point of contact for associates and ManagersMaintain up to date knowledge of law changes, case law and manage updates on policies and handbooks. etc.Track, analyze and interpret ER metrics, working with HRIS teams to identify trends in data which allow for early recommendations and resolution to the business and HRBPsThrough historical case data and trend analysis, engage in proactive ER practices and solutions to reduce the total number of casesAct as the mediator between HR Leaders, works councils and other people partners across the organizationProviding guidance on best practice for works council, adapting policies, defining the consultation requirements, whilst fostering a strong culture of collaborationKeep a clear overview of all current topics, projects and deadlines related to our Works Councils for HQ and prioritize topics in cooperation with leadership ·Be a trustworthy person of contact for both the company and the Works CouncilsResponsible for all documentation and social agreements & create a knowledge database to save all our agreements with our Works CouncilsPrepare information and consultation of Works Councils to implement business decisionsMonitor trends in labor law changes and updates linked to social relations and advise on appropriate action to management to be compliantOrganize and facilitate internal workshops on social relations for our local management and HR TeamDevelop effective relationships with the business to support management, the legal team and the HR TeamVoice of the Associate: Develop a keen understanding of the voice of our Associates The Ideal Candidate:Bachelor’s degree required Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Law, Business or equivalent.4+ years of experience and in-depth experience working in ER and with Works councilsSelf-motivated, with the ability to work under own initiative and prioritize workloadStrong communication skills: ability to influence, stakeholder management, interdepartmental collaboration, diplomatic when needed, sensitive and high sense of integrityFlexible approach to working; being able to work under pressure in a fast, dynamic and driven environmentOrganizational skills; including the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines, as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to establish trust, credibility and stay neutral without letting motivation interfereTechnically proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Strong influencing skills with proven success in influencing employees at all levels of the organization in a consultative methodology What You Can Expect from Us: A beautiful state-of-the-art Campus, complete with our very own People's Place Gym and People's Place Cafés A company culture that fosters development, offering training and learning opportunities through our very own PVH University An international environment which respects diversity, equality, and individuality A smart work program that empowers our associates to work at their preferred location within a flexible schedule A chance to unwind with weekly social activities Please include a cover letter with your application.
