Job Overview
On behalf of my client I am seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join their leading industrial company. The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting HR functions across the organization, including but not limited to recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training and development. This is role is a 2 year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and objectives.
You will support the full recruitment lifecycle, collaborating with internal
stakeholders to develop a comprehensive understanding of their resourcing
requirements
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and grievance procedures.
Manage the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Develop and deliver HR-related training and development to line leads
Maintain accurate HR records and files.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Essential Skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of Irish employment law.
People skills are essential - an ability build relationships and trust. Experience of dealing with people at all levels in the organisation.
Experience of administering an HR IT system
Proven ability to work autonomously, good work ethic.
Confidential, discreet and diplomatic approach. Ability to work with confidential information.
Problem-solving mindset; ability to be flexible, respond positively to change and work effectively under pressure while dealing with conflicting priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification and in excess of 2 years' experience
in a busy, integrated and accessible HR function.
