Schedule:
37.5 hours per week scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. This position is hybrid with some campus-based and some remote work days each week.

JOB SUMMARY
The HR Generalist supports the department to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. The HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping to plan and administer important functions such as staffing, training and development and compensation and benefits. The primary responsibility for this position will be recruiting/onboarding.
4. JOB RESPONSILITIES
List key position responsibilities/duties by category and estimate the percentage of time spent on each responsibility. The total percentage of duties must equal 100%.
Manages the recruitment process including assisting with job postings, recruitment, interviewing and selection. = 25%
Manages onboarding and orientation process. = 20%
Maintains employee records, personnel files, employee intranet and employment related website content. = 15%
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. = 5%
Assists with HRIS management including data input and reporting. = 5%
Assist in projects, such as: HR events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications and company-wide meeting. = 10%
Administer and track leaves of absence (FMLA/OFLA, accommodations, workers comp, etc.). = 5%
Assist in performance evaluation systems. = 5%
Provides back up when other human resources staff are absent. = 5%
Performs other related duties as required and assigned. = 5%

6. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training:
Required
Three to five years of progressive HR experience.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
Certifications and Licenses:
Preferred
HRCI, SHRM or other HR certification preferred
Experience:
Preferred
UKG or other HR/Payroll system experience desirable
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and internet navigation required.
Other Qualifications:
Required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
