The Role:
Pure has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Global HR Digital Technology to
partner with the company’s Chief Digital Transformation Officer and CHRO as well as the HR leadership team in developing and driving a global, transformational digital technology strategy for HR and employee experiences, through strong employee centric design principles and innovative technology deployment.
The position will own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation for all products supporting the HR function, in addition to delivering and operating the systems that support and manage the automated processes. Partnering with the CHRO, this position will evolve, execute and drive the HR Technology roadmap that makes the digital experience for employees and line managers a retention weapon in the high growth, global and hybrid work environment. It will also be the linkage with other application and technology owners who impact the employee experience to ensure that design principles for simplicity and seamless integration are enforced.
A crucial element of this role entails driving the development and translation of the HR Technology roadmap into well sequenced implementation milestones across the HR centers of expertise, HR shared services, and HR business partners as well as introducing a robust program management approach that leads to timely transformation execution. Being a key member of the Digital Transformation Office function at Pure, and in addition to partnering with the HR team broadly, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business and functional leaders end-to-end, in order to develop leader and employee technology solutions that advance their productivity, engagement, and ongoing upskilling and that accelerates business outcomes.

Your responsibilities and impact:
Define the vision and own the development and delivery roadmap for the HR digital technology at Pure
Invent one-of-a kind PURE digital employee experiences, design principles and standards, creating a world class HR technology ecosystem
Drive new technology selection, implementation, change management and adoption across all HR disciplines according to leading design standards
Collaborate, identify and build innovative global employee centric HR business processes across the entire employee life cycle (hire to retire), and implement the technology solutions
Engage with key internal stakeholders across all regions to enable the development of their deliverables based on Pure’s global service standards
Own the translation of all global HR technology into system configuration standards
Own definition of user requirements (personas, use cases) to enable the development of detailed functional and technical specifications
Install strong habits and rituals to continuously improve the employee experience and business value of all digital HR solutions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Strong business acumen, ideally with an application development or implementation background
10 years of HR technology and business process owner experience at a fast paced, global, customer centric organization recognized for HR innovation within or outside the technology industry
Outstanding in-depth HR technology knowledge with a strong external network of vendors and peer companies
In-depth working knowledge of foundational topics in Human Capital as well as best practice concepts
An obsession for high performance and passion for supporting the attainment of the business strategy through technology
Familiarity with strategic human capital management planning processes, showing aptitude to build well sequenced and integrated execution plans that accelerate HR outcomes
Successful professional track record and leadership trajectory in varied areas of human capital technology in a global environment
Cognizant of the systemic interdependencies and partnerships required to advance the HR strategy
Proven ability to design, coordinate and project-manage complex cross-functional initiatives given multiple competing priorities or perspectives
Experience leading and implementing large transformational initiatives
Ability to create high performing team rituals that clarify accountability and differentiates individual performance
Building Relationships and Using Influence
Proven ability to quickly build relationships and drive results through others
Strong ability to multi-task and respond effectively to changing priorities and demands
Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to interact effectively with senior executives and senior managers
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgement to drive complex issues to successful resolution
Strong change management skills to launch solutions directly to people leaders and employees in ways that maximize adoption
Ability to inspire others to follow a common goal and influence without solely leveraging formal authority
Ability to prioritize and succeed in a highly ambiguous environment with competing demands
A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills with attention to detail
Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
