WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING AN INDIVIDUAL FOR THE ROLE OF MANAGER, TALENT ACQUISITION
Reporting to the Regional Manager, Administration, The Manager, Talent Acquisition will have overall strategic responsibility for developing and leading initiatives to attract top talent across the region. He/she will act as an internal partner, working closely with the Regional Manager, Administration, General Managers of Operations and HR team members to ensure recruitment efforts meet the immediate and long-term business needs. The incumbent will play a big role in significantly increasing the amount and quality of applicants
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Attends and/or coordinates recruitment functions such as job fairs, career days and/or other events to source qualified candidates *Work closely and effectively with Resource Department, Training Department, Client, and other department heads to define and agree on recruitment requirements *Create and foster relationships with non-profit employment services organizations, colleges and professional organizations to attract and recruit qualified candidates *Develop and implement any recruitment related policies and procedures and manage any changes or updates to existing policies and procedures *Maintain cost effective and efficient practices that are consistent with the recruitment budget *Responsible for metrics reporting on a weekly, quarterly, and yearly basis *Provide personal, hands-on involvement, direction, and support while being accountable for recruitment initiatives and targets *Lead the recruitment team in delivering high quality and diverse candidates while providing exceptional candidate experience *Oversee hiring procedures to ensure we attract and select high-potential employees *Responsible for overseeing both mass recruiting and specific recruiting *Develop and deploy recruitment strategies that meet the needs of the business and our Client, The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) *Manage a team of Recruitment Specialists *Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
