Job Summary:
The Org Change Project Manager is a strategic partner who guides our teams and clients to the successful delivery of change projects. The Org Change Project Manager is leadership-minded, people-focused, organized, and adaptable project facilitator who focuses on a project’s strategic path and its people (clients and stakeholders). They facilitate projects using established methods and processes to meet project goals and account for constraints, including scope, budget, and stakeholder needs. Most importantly, this role delivers on time, on budget projects and builds lasting relationships with our team and clients, driving them to make reliable decisions, communicate clearly and directly, and solve problems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Owns relationship with project leadersDevelops and manages org change project plan and integration into PMO planDevelops and implements the comms and training plan in conjunction with training and comms resources within the org change team.Manages stakeholder and end-user engagementReinforces adherence to the plan and ensures successful adoption of changeResponsible for org change project success determined by successful accomplishment of defines metrics/KPIsMust possess excellent customer facing skills pay attention to details, and drive items to completion.Must be a highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Holds team accountable for achievement of milestones and course corrects where necessaryEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a business discipline, Organizational Development, Communication, Training, or other related areas. Equivalent work experience may be acceptable. Certification in an organizational change management methodology is a plus (ADKAR, Kotter, or internal organizational change management methodology.) Project management certification would also be a plus.
EXPERIENCE: 4 years of experience with responsibility for leading efforts or teams in organizational change management, or related area (training, communications) on the large or complicated process, technology or corporate change projects (mergers/acquisitions, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects, organization realignments.) Previous experience as an internal or external consultant working within all levels of the organization, including executives and business leaders. Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (Prosci, Kotter, etc.).
COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening, facilitation, and presentation skills.Ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences.Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and work effectively at all levels of the organization.Ability to adjust to different leadership styles.Ability to influence others and move toward a shared vision without formal authority.SPECIAL SKILLS: Able to align business change initiatives with the corporate vision and mission – see the big picture. Able to digest and leverage complex business, organizational, and technical issues, and challenges; flexible and adaptable; comfortable working in ambiguous situations. Strong time management skills and proven project management experience.Must be organized with a natural inclination for translating strategy into tactics and deliverables. Must be a problem-solver, experienced in root cause analysis and can work collaboratively with and through others. Must possess excellent customer facing skills pay attention to details, and drive items to completion. Must be a highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated analytical and the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Familiar with project management approaches, tools, and project lifecycle phases, especially Software/System Development Lifecycle; Able to develop and manage resource and activity estimates and plans for OCM projects; Familiar with/experience in individual influencer and behavioral issues is a plus.
