Summary:
The Strategic HR Partner will lead and direct a group of human resources professional to execute a strategy to optimize human capital that contributes to the achievement of business unit objectives. In close partnership with People Operations and the COEs, this position will set a strategy to utilize the skills of our workforce, enhance the company’s competitive advantage, and increase team member engagement.
Responsibilities Include:
Design and implement HR strategy to drive the organization’s vision
Assist in the development and implementation of plans and programs to ensure the most effective utilization of HR
Influence team member behavior to promote key safety and HR principles
Identify and correct risk generating patterns in EEO and AA using available resources
Champion and lead EID initiatives for the BU
Build team member networks that promote feedback to be used in corrective scenarios where adverse business conditions exist
Effectively identify patterns of behavior which may lead to team member dissatisfaction and focus on strategy to eliminate
Play an active role in the evaluation of talent and the development
Partner with Talent COE to critique learning catalog to analyze performance and budget to drive improvements and inform learning strategies
Monitor success of program and policies against ROI targets and adjust as team member experience and business requirements dictate
Oversee a team and promote an agile and collaborative work environment embodying the vision to implement programs that are innovative and keep the workforce ready for the future while successfully addressing business needs
Ensure a consistent team member experience regardless of where they reside
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience: 10 years relevant work experience
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and strategically influence across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
Special Skills: Significant knowledge in HR strategy and ability to implement at various levels of the organization; Ability to drive improvement and integration of processes, technology, and people through workforce shaping; Proven ability to manage large scale cross functional change projects using the defined Tyson methodology; Strong analytical, technical, and strategic skills to drive efficiencies; Maintaining a high level of confidentiality
Supervisory: Yes, this person will lead a team
Travel: 10 domestic trips per year.
