Roles and Responsibilities
We are excited to share that we have an opportunity for a Human Resource Graduates to join our UK HR team in Cheltenham on a 3-year development programme. By applying for this role, you will also be supported through the Senior People Professional Level 7 apprenticeship
which is equivalent to a master's degree.
Please ensure you take a read of the apprenticeship, to make sure you understand what you will be studying. **** . The apprenticeship funding rules mean that you will need to have 20% of your time off the job, this is not quite as transactional as one day a week out of the office. Your Line Manager & institution will support you to ensure you meet the requirements for this learning.
During this programme, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience in covering all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee relations/engagement and learning and development. You could be working alongside our HR Operations Centre of Excellence, supporting with performance reviews, absent management disciplinary and grievance meetings, helping to implement HR policies and procedures and working on various simplification projects.
There could be opportunity to also spend time on programme at our Dowty site in Gloucestershire.
Qualifications / Requirements
Successfully obtained or be on track to complete your Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
Completion of a 12 month Placement year at GE is highly advantageous
