Job Purpose/Summary:

This position is responsible for the transition and communication strategies for IT learning and development programs in support of the IT business and talent strategy. This includes leadership of the communication & transition needs for all L&D programs and recruiting initiatives. Key responsibilities include ownership of the IT L&D branding, websites, cohesiveness of messaging, calendars of events and university specific messaging. The Level Up program is new to IT and requires a strong communication and transition/change adoption mindset to drive awareness, understanding and adoption with all IT Team Members. The program includes core framework components designed to provide consistent approaches and common messaging for IT Team Members. This role is core to ensuring clarity and adoption metrics are achieved. This role must be able to connect the dots for team members between frameworks, common language and action-oriented results for team members and managers. Communications experience with a matrix organization of recruiting leads, universities, IT subject matter experts is also key. This role requires cross functional collaboration and engagement with all levels of the IT organization to both educate on the programs and benefits while also identifying ongoing areas of focus and opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Work with all members of the IT Learning Management Office to craft communications and transition strategies to support engagement in L&D and Recruiting Programs.
Design and deliver cohesive messaging with appropriate branding for all IT Learning Management Office Programs
Build communication and transition strategies and execution plans that deliver engaging, action oriented opportunities for IT team members.
Drive awareness, understanding and adoption of all IT Learning Management Office programs
Build branding and recruiting materials that highlight the Tyson IT Intern and RCG programs with intent to acquire the best talent from universities.
Support the communications needs of large events and conferences.


Requirements:

Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience:


2 plus years relevant experience in IT communications
2 years of experience using website content creation tools (Like SharePoint/Teams), graphic design tools, and engaging PowerPoint slide development


Computer Skills:


Advanced MS Office skills; ability to use variety of technology platforms to facilitate learning; graphic design tools, webpage publishing/content development (like SharePoint, Teams)


Communication Skills:


Excellent communication and presentation skills both in person and virtually.
Comfortable influencing all levels of the organization including senior management


Special Skills:

High energy leader who is engaging and interactive with presentation delivery and daily interaction with team members
Leader of behavioral change and transformational initiatives who leads with why and inspires action
Experience measuring and communicating the value of learning and ROI.
