About the RoleIn this position, you will partner with business leaders and colleagues across several client groups to have a meaningful impact to the business. You will work across a wide range of areas such as engagement, diversity & inclusion, change management, performance management, employee relations, compensation, recruiting, and talent development. The ability to deeply understand the business practice you are supporting will be critical to your success. You'll also need analytic skills and the ability to translate client business plans and goals into people related outcomes needed to achieve results. Stakeholder relationships/partneringDevelop trusted relationships with senior leaders, colleagues and the People Organisation.Provide best practice strategic guidance to the business on people/talent related mattersEngage closely with the leaders you support in order to build talent strategies to continuously improve engagement.Create a cohesive and effective partnership with aligned People leaders and People centre of excellence teams in order to ensure excellent People service delivery for colleaguesPartner with other areas of HR to coordinate HR services to the client group, identify areas for improvements, and gain sponsorship from business leaders to influence necessary changes in management/policies. Leadership DevelopmentDevelop trusted relationships with senior leaders, colleagues and the People Organisation.Understand the strengths and developmental areas for all those in senior management and leadership positions within aligned business areas—build general management and leadership capability accordinglyProvide candid feedback and constructive coaching on an ongoing basis to aligned business leaders in order to help them progress most efficiently towards goals.Partner with Leaders to conduct and calibrate Talent Assessment for aligned group and execute on specific follow-up actions related to talent transition, selection, movement, development, or top talent retentionHelp to deepen cultural competence in Leaders and their groups through support of training efforts and diversity/inclusion awareness Project managementDevelop a broad understanding of all People Org solutions and is responsible for execution of all people initiatives aligned with the business.
