Digital HR organization in Shell consists of almost 150 professionals bringing together process and systems expertise in order to deliver exceptional HR experience through various technologies for all Shell employees, contractors and candidates to Shell.

The HR Business Analyst in Salesforce landscape provides proactive design of new solutions delivered through Salesforce technology as well as continuous improvement of existing Salesforce Products leading to high value outcomes and demonstrable business benefit.

The main accountabilities:

• Pro-actively determines opportunities where Salesforce technology can bring most business value considering overall Employee Experience and drives business case definition for new demand for using Salesforce Technology in HR;

• Fully responsible for definition and analysis of detailed business requirements for new solutions/applications in Salesforce HR landscape.

• Ensures that new solutions/applications built with Salesforce technology can integrate well with existing Salesforce HR Products, considering end to end business process.

• Leads delivery of various tests for big implementations of new solutions built in Salesforce HR landscape.

• Owns CI agenda in the landscape: proactively identifies opportunities for simplification and automation, while defining clear business benefits of each

• Leads the design of new solutions in Salesforce HR landscape that can deliver exceptional Employee Experience.

• Drives innovation in Salesforce HR landscape, in particular from opportunities coming from regular vendor’s releases, by identifying new solutions and assessing their business value.

• Designs delivery standards in Salesforce HR landscape and provides recommendations for IT Solution Architecture review.

Dimensions:

• Virtual working in a global environment with culturally diverse teams and across many organizational boundaries (HR and IT)

• Part of the matrix organization – working directly within Salesforce DevOps Teams organized in Scrum of Scrums model as well as remaining part of Digital HR Community and working in full integration

with process, data, service delivery, CI and HR performance areas.

• Working closely with relevant IT partners, in particular IT Advisors, IT Managers Scrum Masters and Technical Leads.

• Assigned to various projects as required - working with project stakeholders like Project Manager, IT Business Analyst, IT Solution Architect etc. when designing and developing new solutions/applications in Salesforce HR Landscape.

• Reporting to the Lead Salesforce Product Owner and working closely with HR Product Owners Community.

• Role has no direct reports.

Additional Information:

In this role, you are expected to liaise with multiple stakeholders on different organizational levels to assure dialog on development direction. You will be monitoring dependencies with other internal/external factors and circumstances and translating those into tangible impact on both Salesforce HR landscape & projects you participate in.

You will be working closely with various project teams within Digital HR space, in particular HR Transformation Program, Contingent Workforce and IT.

Requirements:

• Expertise in HR systems and particularly with Salesforce products. Technology savviness and keeping up to date with HR technology trends and methodologies.

• Ability to collect and analyze data to formulate conclusions and make proactive technology recommendations as well as evaluate existing solutions.

• Experience in identifying simplification opportunities that improves an overall end-user experience.

• Familiarity with process automations, continuous improvement and design thinking methods, ideally Lean Practitioner certified with exposure to Agile development methodologies.

• Experience in leading or being a proactive member of a cross-functional (natural) team consisting of both business and IT stakeholders delivering new system solutions or products, particularly through Salesforce technology.

• Ability to engage and work with across different parts of the organization (be it across functional areas or layers of seniority).

• Strong experience in business relationship management, influencing customer and operations teams; Empathetic, purposeful, and attuned communications/marketing, with customer relationship management and networking skills, ideally throughout significant change period.

• Ability to work virtually within a global community with a positive and supportive mindset.

• Ability to work independently and taking initiative to bring recommendations forward, while displaying a sense of urgency in resolving issues.

• Demonstrating consistently a can-do attitude.

• Fluent in English
