H K’s in-house Talent Team is part of a collaborative group of HR staff working seamlessly to support the talent attraction and retention needs of the agency. The HR/Talent team is seven people strong; we possess a broad range of complimentary skill-sets and are passionate about the work we do.

We have an exciting opportunity for an in-house Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Talent Team on a freelance basis, to support the Talent Acquisition Lead & Talent Acquisition Executive. We are looking for an established resourcing specialist, to help attract high performing PR communications professionals to our agency and sector teams.
Working across a broad range of business sectors and specialist teams which could include Food Drink, Energy Industrials and Financial to Sports, Issues Crisis and Technology, to name a few, the successful recruit will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Mid-level/Senior roles, liaise with hiring managers on their staffing requirements, as well as shortlisting and pre-screening candidates. In addition, the successful candidate will support the Talent Acquisition Lead on various talent focused initiatives, provide administrative support across all aspects of the talent acquisition process, from the planning stages through to hire and support the Talent Acquisition Lead to source and attract talent to H K using a range of social media platforms and marketing and digital talent networks to help build talent pipelines for current and future business hiring needs.
The successful Talent Acquisition Manager will not be phased by a busy workload and a fast-paced environment. They will approach work with enthusiasm, speed and excellent attention to detail. An PR/communication in-house and/or recruitment agency background is ideal; with a black book of contacts within the PR/communications industry – we’re looking for a true ‘hunter gatherer’.
BUSINESS SECTORS/CLIENTS
Work spans across eight business sectors and specialist teams who work with a broad range of leading brands and clients such as adidas; Mondelez; EON; Cineworld; Gillette; HSBC; Huawei; Inter-Continental Hotel Group; LG; P&G; Shell; Shire Health; Westfield.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with MD of Operations and MD’s to confirm resourcing needs and priorities
Liaise with MD’s of each practice and to better understand client, works and team culture in order to write accurate job adverts and build a ‘sell’ around each role
Review incoming CVs and screen potential candidates via phone call or short initial meeting
Manage diaries and interview logistics to ensure fast progress on all hires
Liaising with the Talent Acquisition Lead and Talent Acquisition Executive in all aspect of the recruitment cycle
Ensure there is a regular flow of information on candidates and interviews with the Leadership team of each practice as well as with H&K’s, MD of Operation and MD’s
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to better guarantee a positive outcome of any hiring process
In collaboration with H&K’s MD’s and the practice leadership team, prepare and send out H&K’s ‘Visions’ for candidates and make verbal job offers as required
Ensure that all documents/information required for a formal job offer are shared with H&K’s HR/Talent Team
Sourcing Candidates
Candidates
Build a Talent Pool (pipeline) that reflects the future growth of the agency and allows quick turnaround on new or replacement hires
Maintain the database of candidates on (currently using Jobvite), to ensure that ownership of candidates (recruiters) and a history of interviews/feedback is kept up to date
Ensure compliance with GDPR where candidate data is concerned and promote awareness and good practice within the hiring manager group
Advertising
Write engaging advertising copy and post to LinkedIn Advertising, making the most of LinkedIn recommendations for length of posting and use of tag words.
Promote roles and adverts through social media and encourage practice teams to promote live roles on their teams through reposting.
Use social channels to best promote PN to different audiences and encourage teams to share their work and events on PN social channels
Ensure compliance with GDPR is in evidence in all advertising copy
Headhunting:
Use LinkedIn to network and entice targeted audiences to consider live and future roles
Recruiters:
When required, brief recruiters in full (team, work, role), aiming to protect the hiring managers’ time.
Act a first point of contact for recruiters and ensure all recruiter communications go through Talent/HR.
Build and maintain strong working relationship with our PSL to ensure H&K acquire the best talent on the market
