As the Senior HR Manager for the APAC region, you will report to the Director of HR in the USA. You will be the primary People support to Senior Vice President in APAC.
You will:
Analyse organisational structures, responsibilities, reporting relationships and work processes to determine company-wide programs that need to be implemented to increase organisational effectiveness.
Be the HR lead on country-specific employment rules and regulations across the APAC region, in particular Japan, Australia and Singapore.
Align with the management team on the implementation of corporate programs related to human resources, organizational integration, talent management and performance management at the team level. You will gather data and provide a needs analysis from the team.
Consult with employees and managers to address causes of engagement and development issues, and resolve employee relations issues.
Investigate issues around unsatisfactory performance, employee complaints and violation of policy to recommend action. Educate new and current employees and managers on employee relations issues.
Help with Operational tasks such as merit reviews, promotions, global mobility and social benefit/pension plans. Provide oversight with managing employment records, and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
May also be asked to help manage the regional/local facilities requirements to ensure local employees have the tools and resources to be engaged and successful.
You have:
8 years progressive HR experience, with important competencies in employee relations, recruiting, HR operational excellence and talent management.
Multi-jurisdictional experience supporting countries across APAC regions.
Manage programs in a matrixed organisation.
Demonstrated experience in a global work environment.
Previous experience with cultural and operational M&A integration a plus.
Up to 25% travel
You will be onsite to help support People needs when they arise
