Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time entry level employment opportunity for a Staff Talent Acquisition Assistant (Recruiting Assistant) in the Human Resources Department based in various office locations. Position Summary:
The Staff Talent Acquisition Assistant will provide advanced day to day administrative support to the Talent Services team. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinates and schedules interview appointments and interfaces with candidates and Hiring Managers
Initiates contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings
Maintains pre-employment activities including paperwork, office and applicant communications in recruiting database (Jobvite)
Assists with staff recruitment by posting open positions on the intranet and job boards; entering and tracking job applicants using recruiting software
Develops and places job ads on various media platforms
Initiates background checks and conducts reference checks
Coordinates travel arrangements, processes reimbursement expenses, maintains calendars and other administrative duties as assigned
Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation
Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Provide outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services and meet or exceed client expectations. Proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help others
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a team
Qualifications & Prior Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred
Minimum 0-2 years of experience in recruiting/administrative experience
Prior work experience in or with a professional services firm preferred
Experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
