The selected applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:• Acting as a single point of contact for employees and managers in assigned business units, proactively supporting the delivery of HR Processes.• Conducting employee relations investigations of complaints, policy violations and performance and conduct concerns indicating need for disciplinary action. Providing guidance to management and making recommendations for resolution. • Assisting managers to address performance management concerns by taking appropriate steps in compliance with the disciplinary action process and policies. • Assisting with the dispute resolution process involving employees and management in support of assigned divisions. • Cultivating and nurturing relationships with team members and leadership through coaching, onsite visits, and employee activities. • Providing local level support of recruitment and outreach efforts, including attending local job fairs and attending events with community affiliates and colleges. • Participating as a collaborative member of the HR Team, supporting or leading companywide projects, functions, or programs as assigned.• Contributing to the overall achievement of HR goals, objectives, and strategies • Minimum of 7 years’ Human Resources experience• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources management or equivalent • Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws• Must be self-directed and motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision, exercising critical thinking and strong independent judgment to resolve issues. • Able to demonstrate sound judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the company.• Experience supporting all company levels including Executive level leadership. • Consistently work with integrity to develop strong and trusting relationships while handling confidential information with discretion. • Excellent verbal, written and strong interpersonal communications.• Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.• Live within a commutable distance to Colorado Springs, CO and Pueblo, CO (within 50 miles) for as needed onsite support at multiple local facilities. • Local and some distant travel is required for this position, including but not limited to out of state locations you may support. • Must be a U.S. citizen • MBA/MA or advanced degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development preferred• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred #LI-DM1The Human Resources Division contributes to the strategic mission of the company by providing programs and services to increase organizational competitiveness and employee effectiveness and well being.
