Prestigious Professional Services Firm, located in Chicago, is currently seeking a Peoplesoft Functional HR Consultant with strong Payroll and Benefits experience. Candidates assist clients with the planning and implementation of PeopleSoft financials and human capital management software. Peoplesoft HR Consultants will work under a project manager in conjunction with other client team members throughout the entire implementation lifecycle, including planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go-live and post-production support.
Responsibilities include:
· Chart of accounts design;
· Software configuration;
· Identification of business process modifications;
· Design document creation;
· Test script identification/execution;
· End-user training development and execution.
Job Requirements:
*Experience with PeopleSoft Financials (v 7.5, 8.0, 8.4, 8.8, 8.9, or 9.0) and/or PeopleSoft Human Capital Management. PeopleSoft Grants Experience (v 8.4 or higher) preferred
*First-hand experience with at least two of the following modules: Payroll, Projects, Contracts, Billing and Accounts Receivable Modules
*Experience as a functional application specialist
*Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
*The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate university and hospital executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
*Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
*Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams.
*A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies.
