Profile

The Role: Director, Talent Management
As the director of people programs, you will be responsible for driving, leading and managing enterprise wide talent management and people programs such as goals-setting, performance management, talent review, succession and development planning to name a few.  You , along with your team, will be asked to evolve our current programs, architecting new ones and an insure all program launches are properly supported.  The role works closely with partners within the People team including- HRBPs, HR technology, global people services, people analytics team. Success in this role will require both strategic thinking abilities, execution excellence, and customer mindset. This position currently has one full-time direct-report and potentially one contractor support in future. 
This role involves cyclical execution of people programs alternating with enablement and design sprints towards talent programs cycles. 
The primary responsibilities would include the below
Strategic leadership and delivery of enterprise talent programs including OKRs, check-ins, talent review, succession and development planning in coordination with other cyclical programs (like compensation and promo cycles) 
Running all aspect of operations for these talent programs including 
Updates to program design as needed during each cycle
Program communications to different stakeholders (employees, managers, key stakeholders) including reporting out the results, maintaining the dashboards
Marketing and promotions for different programs across employee population
Enablement for different stakeholders on talent programs (employees, managers and HR teams)
Ensuring tool readiness/managing tool related aspects in partnership with HR technology team
Managing regional stakeholders and ensuring consistent delivery across regions (Including working with GPPR, works councils related requirements where necessary)
Managing training and communication resources on channels (slack, intranet, service now) and keep them updated and refreshed
Partner with people team and business leaders to define and establish a long-term talent strategy that may include: identifying critical roles, determining talent gaps, contributing to internal mobility efforts, and developing long term plans to bridge talent gaps
Evaluate existing processes and pilot/experiment to continuously improve the user experience while ensuring fair and transparent systems that drive our talent management philosophy
Build a strong team and strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure seamless operations and change management as needed 
Partner with Learning & Development to develop training materials and help resources customized to user groups (individuals, managers, leaders, HRBPs, function-specific resources, etc.)
Apply a strong data driven and story-telling approach when analyzing large data sets, distilling insights and conveying significant findings that drive adjustments to existing designs and give direction for new experiments partnering with People Analytics team
Qualifications and Skills
Masters degree preferably in behavioral, organizational, psychology  sciences
12-15 years working in a high tech, globally matrixed organization.
Strong command on project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication 
Stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills
