Description

The Senior Associate Well-Being Benefits Professional applies forward-looking, innovative thought to strategy, design and delivery to help position the company as an employer-of-choice in the present and future. The Senior Associate Well-Being Benefits Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position is specific to strategic and operational work related to Humana's retirement plans and the financial well-being of associates.

Responsibilities

The Senior Associate Well-Being Benefits Professional utilizes deep understanding of contemporary practices and the associate community to develop and implement competitive benefit opportunities that contribute to associates well-being and emphasize perceived value while balancing expense and business requirements, including regulatory compliance. In this job, the associate will:

Have responsibilities related to on-going retirement plan oversight and compliance

Leverage industry knowledge and experience to influence the strategic direction of Humana's retirement plans and broader financial well-being strategy

Conduct industry benchmarking related to retirement plan design and emerging benefit practices for retirement and financial well-being benefits

Actively manage relationships with internal and external collaborators to drive financial well-being education of Humana associates

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5 or more years of demonstrated technical experience within employee retirement benefits / consulting

Experience in developing and maintaining benefit programs that balance associate value and overall investment

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

10 or more years of demonstrated technical experience within employee retirement benefits / consulting

Experience with developing and maintaining multiple benefit tiers within a single organization

Experience with benefits as part of M&A integration
