Summary:
This position is responsible for the management and delivery of succession planning and organizational assessments in support of the business and talent strategy. This role requires cross functional collaboration and engagement with all levels of the organization to educate on the talent enablement processes while also identifying ongoing areas of focus and opportunity.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage the strategy that will assess the workforce and design the approach to address activity analysis that will meet and serve the current and future workforce goals
Review strategic priorities of the business and assess future talent needs against current resources and KPIs
Review and assess proficiency levels for functional and leadership competencies as input into organizational capability assessment
Promote a collaborative work environment embodying the vision to create organizational assessments that are innovative and keep the workforce ready for the future while successfully addressing business needs
Establish succession planning processes, models, cadence
Design and develop principles for critical role selection
Design and maintain talent pools
Develop strategies to address gaps in capabilities
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience: 6 years relevant work experience
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; must be proficient in emerging technologies in talent space
Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and implement talent enablement strategy across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
Special Skills: Significant knowledge in utilizing organizational capability assessments to drive career mobility; Ability to drive improvement and integration of processes, technology, and people
Supervisory: Yes, this person will lead a small team
Travel: 5-10 domestic trips per year.
