The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will support our Talent Acquisition Recruiters by identifying and attracting candidates. The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will utilize social networking sites, job boards, and internal CRM, etc. to identify potential qualified candidates that meet the needs of hiring departments.
A Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist is responsible for:
Proactive sourcing to identify potential candidates by effectively using recruitment technology, cold calling, database mining, and networking.
Responsible for creating email, text, and postcard campaigns to attract passive candidates.
Scheduling qualified candidates in Outlook to the Talent Acquisition Recruiters calendar to complete a formal interview.
Effectively prioritizing responsibilities to produce results in a timely manner.
Continuously working on improving their professional expertise by researching current industry best practices as well as collecting competitive data.
Taking initiative to investigate responsibilities or technology in further detail to help with identifying a qualified candidate pool.
Maintaining appropriate records of productivity by creating and maintaining tracking reports.

The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist refers applicants to particular position openings, administers pre-employment tests, checks references, and conducts exit interviews. Assists with employment advertising and other related duties. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.
THIS ROLE IS PART OF THE VARIBLE STAFFING POOL(VSP).
Associate degree in Human Resources or the equivalent related experience.
A minimum of 1 year experience in sourcing candidates.
Proficient in recruiting technology (internet crawlers, Boolean searches).
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and internet required.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, email) also required.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated strong time management, organization and prioritization skills.

This role is 100% remote. This role is part of the Variable Staffing Pool( VSP), Variable Staffing Pool Humana associates work flexible hours to meet business needs, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum number of hours in any week. VSPs are not eligible for associate bonuses and receive limited benefits.
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
