HR DIRECTOR in TRAINING \u2013 Protein Conversion/Small Bird Debone Business Unit\u00A0Scope:\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0The HR Director in Training will be based out of a designated\u00A0manufacturing facility.\u00A0 They will be responsible for supporting the HR generalist needs and results of the protein conversion/pet foods operations and support of small bird deboning plants as needed.\u00A0 The HR Director in Training will work closely with the Complex HR Managers and operations team for the area facilities.\u00A0 The designation of the Area HR Director in Training will be determined by the individual\u2019s skills set.\u00A0 Estimated travel will be approximately 50%.\u00A0 \u00A0Responsibilities:Communicate, coordinate and execute PPC strategies and business unit/facility tactical initiatives for their\u00A0facility\u2019s.Through the Complex HR Managers in their assigned area, oversee and insure the communication, coordination and execution of PPC strategies and business unit/facility tactical initiatives;Provide counsel to area facilities HR and Operations management on complex employee relations, policy, compliance, and legal issues;Provide focus, accountability and drive ownership for key performance indicators (overall performance management);Oversee the development of the overall talent within the area facilities (skills and people gaps).Performance Indicators:Retention (production/maintenance and management);Percent of standard crewing;Absenteeism;No regulatory agency negative findings;Maintain strong employee relationsTalent ManagementCompletion of designated training modules;Maximizing the fulfillment of all designated feeder programs (Interns, Trainees, QA, Lead, etc.);Identification and execution of succession planning;Activity and impact of community relations initiatives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:5\u00A0to\u00A010 years experience in HR management or supervision requiredBroad knowledge of federal and state employment lawsGeneral knowledge of benefits and compensation administrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood organizational and problem solving skillsExcellent technical skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and HR-SAP)EOE/Vet/Disabled
