Job AdvertOur dynamic and agile People and Culture (P&C) teams play a key role in helping us transition from an international oil company to an integrated energy company. As P&C Consultant in the North Sea, working closely with our Production business you'll bring our people strategy to life, helping leaders create and maintain top performing, highly engaged and purposeful teams, championing the people agenda and bringing this to life in practical way that adds value. Much of your success will lie in your ability to manage relationships and quickly get to grips with our key business drivers, putting people first in all that you do and applying sage business acumen along the way.
As a seasoned people professional, you'll also thrive in a dynamic environment where the 'answers' aren't always apparent. You'll be confident partnering our Production population to provide expert advice, guidance, and leadership across the full spectrum of generalist people activities. Being able to analyse business metrics and data to provide insights is also key, and these will lead into the delivery of our people plans.
The role provides an opportunity to get involved in the global people agenda across our Production sub–entity, so adaptability and a federal outlook will serve you well in this capacity.
The role will be based out of Dyce, Aberdeen and will also require regular visits to our offshore sites in the Central North Sea and West of Shetland, on average for 2–3 days per visit, occurring 5–6 times per year.
Does this sound like you?
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other relevant field and preferably CIPD qualified.
Significant experience and technical capability in Human Resources, proven capability and experience in strategic talent management, ER, change management, and organisational development. Ideally, some of this experience will have been gained in operational environments
Exemplary interpersonal skills with an ability to apply these in business and operational settings for high impact
Well–developed leadership capability/lead business partner capability with the ability to build capability, coach and drive strong performance.
Track record of effective strategic partnering and senior leadership coaching. Able to connect with colleagues at all levels, confidence to influence and bring people along.
Commercially savvy, able to understand key business drivers, connecting them to people agenda.
Experience of organisational change management and working in a matrixed organisation, and working knowledge of local labour legislation and regulations
It would also be very beneficial to have experience working with agile methodologies (scrum, kanban, design thinking, etc.)
Minimum industry training/certifications required to go offshore in the UKCS, or willingness to complete these
