Description
The HR Business Partner Lead- Primary Care Organization leads the people management agenda in a business unit/area, and acts as a facilitator for the company's management team. Applies broad experience in various Humana Resources (HR) areas of expertise. The HR Business Partner Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The HR Business Partner Lead-Primary Care Organization acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit/area in people management agenda. Possesses a deep knowledge of the business unit / area, key employees and business processes. Builds a strong business relationship with the business unit/area and transfers HR requests and solutions to/from the business unit. Implements best practices and supports the delivery of HR processes in support of the business unit/area. Identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks. Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management. Advises executives to on a variety of day-to-day people, process, and performance matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
The HRBPL will:
Develop and drive a strategic vision around day-to-day people, policy, process, and performance related matters that impact all aligned leaders and organizations
Directly support several executives and their organizations
Build a strong, trusting business relationship with aligned leaders and organizations
Act as a business partner; advise leaders on all HR-related opportunities and gaps in the implementation of people processes and practices to ensure to positive impact each organization's business goals and objectives
Provide leadership to drive a high-performance team-based culture
Partners with leadership and Key HR partners to support Inclusion and Diversity goals and objectives
Partner with specialized HR areas including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, organizational effectiveness, learning, Inclusion & Diversity, and the Business Leadership Group to ensure organization needs are fully met and gaps are identified and addressed
Implement best practices and support the delivery of core HR processes (e.g., performance management, risk and policy alignment, cultural awareness, and organizational re-alignment)
Facilitate leadership development and key talent retention efforts
Identify gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to mitigate risks
Advise executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance
Access and derive insights from HRSSGC Dashboards, people and talent analytics, legal, risk & compliance data to address performance and leadership gaps that address engagement, performance, and retention
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 5 years' of progressive and strategic HR experience within multiple HR disciplines
Previous experience in a business aligned HR partner/consultant role
Sound understanding of business principles, models, and concepts as well as subject matter expertise & knowledge of HR disciplines
Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders, consulting on business, culture, and people strategy
Strong business acumen
Organizational assessment and strong investigation capabilities
Demonstrated track record of effectively identifying and closing strategic organizational and communications gaps to support strong organizational culture where associates are engaged, connected and able to bring their 'whole-self' to work each day and create a positive impact on business outcomes
If located in a city with a Humana office, this role will be hybrid based on business need
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a Healthcare organization or specialty
Master's Degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Business, HR, Organization Behavior or Business & Industrial Counseling)
Previous experience working with analytic, technical, product and/or production organizations
