HR Generalist to work as Retail HR Business Partner covering both Retail and Corporate functions.
Be the senior HR generalist on the team as the HR contact point for your stakeholders. Provide strategic leadership and initiatives rather than just day to day HR Operations. You will be joining a solid team of HR professionals with a great team culture and work-life balance.
[Roles/Responsibilities]
Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders to implement and improve upon the well being of the workplace.
Negotiate with outside vendors, and work with foreign employees to ensure their continued employment in Japan.
Serve as a performance coach and help each employee reach their full potential.
Be a key advisor to management and assist them in forging and applying new HR projects.
[Required skills]
Native level Japanese and solid spoken English ability is necessary. This role requires high level communication with foreign stake holders/management.
Minimum of 2 years work experience as HR Generalist or HRBP required in addition to other HR experience
Understanding of Japanese labor laws
[Preferred skills]
Fantastic interpersonal communication skills
Experience in the retail industry is not required but an advantage
