SUMMARY: Responsibilities include creating and maintaining the electronic and paper personnel files; enter and activate hourly new hires; disciplinary actions; termination records. Other duties also include answering a steady volume of telephone inquiries handling a high volume of team member inquiries regarding Company benefits policies and payroll along with other HR duties as assigned. The competencies essential to this position include: functional technical drive for results time management team work time management. The successful candidate will be required to become certified as benefits counselor. This will require preparing and facilitating benefits enrollment for new hires and during open enrollment.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education in general office and clerical skills preferred. Experience: Minimum of one year administrative clerical experience in a busy office environment personnel client or customer relations . Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office are essential and previous SAP and or HRIS experience is a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ability to multi-task prioritize tasks work with constant interruptions and possess extensive organizational skills are necessary in this position.
