Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Bilingual Supply Chain Recruiter to execute staffing strategies and support high volume Distribution Center Associate initiatives/programs within the Talent Acquisition function that will improve the overall talent level and bench strength within their organization. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates in consistent partnership with the extended team. This position will also consult with the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence to create new and enhanced recruiting and selection processes and tools that will attract, select and retain a qualified and diverse workforce.
Responsibilities:
Implement external recruiting/selection programs and processes that attract, select and retain a qualified, diverse workforce, leveraging automated applicant tracking system. Assist with the development of on-boarding processes that support talent retention.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with appropriate third-party organizations/entities in order to support staffing needs (vendors, technical schools/colleges, military, search firms, etc.). Support or lead development of programs as assigned.
Stay current with training, job skills, and technology required on how to recruit qualified, diverse talent for multiple business units. Work with business partners to identify and address training needs in the areas of recruiting and selection.
Ensure legal compliance in regard to all staffing initiatives and related programs. Develop a means of measuring and monitoring effectiveness of staffing programs.
Provide information about staffing and recruiting programs/initiatives in a timely and effective manner utilizing standard communication tools identified for all levels of the organization.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field (Master's degree in human resources or related field preferred); and
2-3 years experience with high volume recruiting preferably in warehouse or light industrial work with retail preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Background/Skills:
PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of staffing best practices, recruiting and selection skills (focus on diversity)
Strong strategic planning skills/experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, decision making and development/planning skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software required.
Bilingual skills a plus.
