Job Description
As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, Intel is planning to invest more than $20 billion in the construction of two new leading-edge chip factories in Ohio to boost production to meet demand for advanced semiconductors, power a new generation of innovative products from Intel, and serve the needs of foundry customers.
As a result, we are looking for a Talent Planner to lead the workforce eco-system development and acquisition.
The Talent Planner will be responsible for leveraging talent management expertise and strategic analytical skills to design and sustain a forward-looking, enterprise talent planning approach that supports near and long-term strategic business objectives and helps optimize our talent investment. You will work in close partnership with internal stakeholders to design and develop talent plans that create the next generation workforce for Intel in Ohio. The Talent Planner will drive clarity on our talent supply, understand our talent demand and create short- and long-range talent planning strategies for Business Units for critical roles/skills.
In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary.
On a regular basis, you could:
Lead Talent Planning engagements, in close partnership with key stakeholders and partners, so the outcome is an integrated talent plan that fully comprehends an understanding of existing talent supply, talent demand and related gaps
Manage the planning, development, and compliant acquisition of Talent, while maintaining a consistent corporate image
Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions (e.g., decision frameworks, dashboards), based on business needs across the enterprise, that inform talent decisions and monitor talent plans.
Support the definition of roles, scope and impact, critical skills and proficiencies, career pathing and learning to ensure Intel is developing the talent needed to deliver on our future.
Advocate and coach others on the use of technological solutions supporting talent management.
Support transition and change management activities aligned to enterprise and BU talent plans for customers engaged in the process.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
Strategic, Technical, Financial, and Organizational Acumen: Understanding of business strategy, how profitability is achieved, who the business serves, how the business differentiates in the market and industry.
Influence / coaching ability: Influence and coach leadership at all levels of the org to grow understand their capabilities to build right talent strategies to expand capacity.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Talent Acquisition, workforce planning or related field of study with 8+ years of related experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 6+ years relevant experience. Experience should be in a combination of the following:
Talent Acquisition and talent planning expertise
: How various talent management roles and capabilities connect to build integrated talent strategies that optimize our talent investment.
Capacity and resource modeling
: Experience with developing models that represent capacity or quantity of resources and how the needs grow and change over time.
Data Analytics
: Assesses talent data to draw conclusions and translates those insights into a compelling story for business leaders and partners.
