Aon is looking for a Compensation Consultant  As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our McLagan business group within Aon's Human Capital Solutions team. This position offers an opportunity to work as a Compensation Consultant in one of our east coast locations including CT, NY, NJ, PA or MA. McLagan is the financial services industry's leading global compensation consulting firm.　Our clients include virtually every leading global financial services firm, including Banks, securities firms, Investment Management organizations, hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity firms, and public plan sponsors. Our business model is based on creating and expanding long-term partnerships with our clients. Many of our key client relationships extend back to McLagan’s inception in 1966.  Your impact as a Compensation Consultant We currently have an immediate need for an experienced consultant to join one of our business teams as a Compensation Consultant. The Compensation Consultant will be part of a highly productive team of industry experts. In our team-based work environment, the Compensation Consultant will contribute to our clients’ business decisions made by their senior leaders, including executive management and boards of directors. Job Responsibilities:Analyzing data related to annual benchmark surveys and client engagements Researching existing and emerging trends in client business Completing complex analyses; writing reports Fielding client questions and deliver solutions Mentor and provide guidance to more junior staff  You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Understanding of Compensation Survey benchmarking skills Ability to derive meaningful insights from quantitative and qualitative data Strong mathematics and statistics Excellent presentation skills Ability to be consultative having strong verbal and written communication Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Quick learner, independent thinker Ability to work independently and on a team while handling multiple projects Creative and proactive problem-solving skills Superior Excel and PowerPoint   Experience:  4 plus years of compensation consulting or compensation experience within a corporate environment.  Financial services experience is preferred. Education: Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant field of study, with proven academic excellence. We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.  Our Colleague Experience: From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
