Ward and Smith, P.A. is a growing full-service law firm with multiple offices throughout North Carolina. We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator in our New Bern, Greenville, Raleigh, or Wilmington office, with a preference for New Bern.
Applicants should be multi-task oriented, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment, acting with discretion and confidentiality at all times. The Coordinator will perform a wide variety of administrative functions in support of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, assistance in the areas of staff recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, and benefits.
Successful candidates will be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Human Resources experience, particularly in a law firm or professional services environment is highly desirable. PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
