The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is looking for a professional to join our fast-paced HR Office. This role offers a wide scope of responsibilities that includes HR duties relating to employment actions like recruitment, selection, and retention functions using the School District's TalentEd and Vermont's e-Finance Systems.
This position is a key member of the HR Team and is responsible in part for the timely generation of employment contracts and related communications. This role is also responsible for the creation of records, generates reports, disseminating information according to the established procedures plus this role:
Completes employment verifications for new hires.
Updates and reports the seniority status of full time and part-time employees.
Reviews and updates the State's Educator Census.
Assists with the preparation of contracts for seasonal athletic coaches, including extracurricular assignments.
Enters data for all new employees, employee terminations and address changes, employee evaluations and Declaration of Health Coverage information in the e-system.
Collects and records new employee license endorsements and HQT status in the e-system.
Prepares and submits biannual EEO5 report data.
This role must be able to meet our commitment to timely customer service while demonstrating flexibility and the desire and ability to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate needs to be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple, simultaneous projects with a high level of productivity and this role must be able to work effectively with individuals in all constituencies of a diverse community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related Business Field with SHRM certification, SPHR, PHR, or pHCLE certification preferred or five to seven years of direct HR experience required. Familiarity with employee records requirements and HRIS experience strongly preferred.
Salary commensurate with experience.
