Responsibilities
Creation, review, analysis, classification and evaluation of job descriptions for compliance with state and federal laws
Collects and analyzes occupational data, such as physical, mental, and training requirements of jobs and workers, and develops written summaries for job descriptions and career ladders
Recommends pay ranges, participates in third party compensation surveys, and performs associated analysis to determine company competitiveness both internally and externally
Prepare market data to include tools for internal, state, local, and industry analyses so as to allow leadership to recommend appropriate pricing of labor for client proposals nationwide
Increase processes - manage systems used to create site specific reports (both excel and system processed) to include: auditing data to/from sites, partnering with HRIS and Payroll to ensure uploads are accurate and timely
Review and analyze cost of changes and implementation of Merit, COLA and market adjustments for internal effect to company
Partner with HRIS to maintain and enhance self-service tools to process compensation related requests
Assist in designing and utilizing audits to ensure employee compensation data is correct
Assist in designing and preparing compensation and budget related reports
Administers and maintains compliance with the terms of Collective Bargaining Agreements
Qualifications:
3 years of compensation relevant work experience
3 years of experience in analyzing, designing and/or administering compensation programs.
Certified Compensation Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
Knowledge of compensation policies, procedures and best practices.
Knowledge of Federal, State and local government laws as it relates to compensation programs required.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage records and meet deadlines.
