Profile

The Manager of Physician Services coordinates administrative delivery of physician workforce activities for medical group physicians. Also, the manager communicates directly with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Physician Partner (IPA) practices for onboarding, training, education, and day to day support services for physicians to practice successfully within the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. network. The manager will provide account management activities for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. provisioned practice management services ensuring his/her team delivers effective solutions and high-quality service.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*Deliver medical group physicians' benefits management (benefit enrollment, health enrollment, health insurance, and disability), medical malpractice, and other related insurances, accounts payable, payroll, expense reimbursement and benefits for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. clinic aligned medical groups and others as requested *Works with brokers to negotiate benefits, premiums and administrative costs and presents recommendations to medical group leadership. Manages open enrollment process for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. clinic aligned medical groups. *Facilitates physician recruitment for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. clinic aligned medical groups (reviews CVs and presents candidates to medical group leadership) *Supports compliance, oversight and calculations of retirement plan offerings for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. clinic aligned medical groups (5500 forms, 8955SSA, plan audits, contributions, etc.)  *Manages the scheduling, onboarding, and education of physicians in the recruitment pipeline in coordination with medical group leadership, credentialing, marketing, quality, revenue cycle, experience, as well as ensuring integration within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Clinic *Responsible for administration of physician HR functions of medical groups as required (i.e., leaves of absence, workers' compensation, policy, compliance, etc.) *Provides quality assurance activities regarding compensation and other sensitive administrative tasks *Facilitates issue remediation and directs operational improvement for MSO services *Provides field support to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Physician Partners for administrative and operational education, issue management and inquiry support *Addresses escalation issues from Member Services from **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Physician Partner practices *Provides account management services of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.-sponsored third-party entities that provide practice management support (billing, IT, HR, etc.) *Supports practice and physician acquisitions for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. clinic *Provides project management and business analysis to create new workflows and optimize existing functions within the department *Provides informational materials, education and, suggestive tactics on physician performance. *Manages **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Physician Partners data after the process of credentialing to ensure accuracy in reporting to all departments (contracting, marketing, credentialing, etc.) *Participates in physician engagement and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. experience planning, implementation, and sustainment tactics *Performs personnel functions (e.g. interviewing, evaluating, supervising, etc.) for motivating and maintaining a high performing team, enhancing productivity of personnel and achieving objectives *Defines and manages key performance indicators within the department and fosters continual improvement activities
 

Education, Training and Experience
Required:

*Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or Related Field or equivalent years of experience *Two (2) years of experience managing staff. *Five (5) years Healthcare experience or Five (5) years in Account Management in another industry or Five (5) years experience in Human Resources
PREFERRED:

*Master's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related field *Physician Relations or Human Resources experience/background.

*Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, handle several projects *Superior verbal and written skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across levels of the organization *Demonstrated success in managing performance and development of others (either directly or indirectly). *Demonstrated ability to facilitate team meetings and deliver presentations. *Simultaneously, prioritize competing efforts and delegate duties. *Strong strategic and critical thinking skills. *Strong customer relations focus and relationship building capabilities. *Independent self-starter; work independently within established guidelines, and maintain confidentiality.
