Aon is looking for a Compensation Director As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our McLagan business group within Aon’s Human Capital Solutions team. This position offers an opportunity to work as a Director in our Stamford, CT office. McLagan is the financial services industry's leading global compensation consulting firm. Your impact as a Compensation Director Job Responsibilities: Client Value: Under limited supervision, demonstrated ability to successfully integrate feedback to enhance data products year-over-year in order to better meet sector needs and grow the quantity of data while continuing to improve product quality and enhance analysis capabilities.Presents content at sector forums/conferences and facilitates presentations to both internal and external audiences. Contributed to feedback sessions with strategic contacts in the sector on data products. Considered the primary subject matter expert of industry knowledge across a single sector and is externally recognized as such. Colleagues at this level are also internally recognized for that sector and can leverage that knowledge to drive product strategy. Business Results: Drives sector content and narrative. Authors moderately complex proposals off the back of client conversations for data focused deliverables and understands pricing, timing, and associate deliverables. Master of the competitive landscape of the sector and tailors presentations and deliverables based on deep sector and client expertise. Enable Innovation: Actively identifying how the impact on the external business climate and evolving talent requirements could be better highlighted in trends and insights. Regularly completed or facilitated the release of content – whitepapers / marketing - to increase firm eminence. Demonstrated ability to independently connect input from clients on alternatives to illustrate potential insights or trends You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseTechnical Skills – Individual should be capable in Excel / PowerPoint, can build presentations, analyze data and extrapolate results from large data sets. Ability to build a story/narrative around data and information.Communication / Presentation skills – Comfortable with speaking with clients, answer on-the-spot questions, and presents well. Expertly lead day-to-day client questions/requests.Self-Starter / Independence– Entrepreneurial spirit in the sense that are comfortable in an unstructured environment. Manages time/commitments with little oversight. Develops relationships internally to finds answers to questions.Great Teammate – Excels at working within a team, flexible, and diplomatic.Project Management – Not vital, but nice to have. At a minimum, ability to handle competing commitments.Presentation Skills – Ability to be consultative, has strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience: 10 years of proven experience in consulting/financial services. Education: Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant field of study, with validated academic excellence.
