Job summary
This role is critical to helping College navigate and address the challenges and complexities of our culture. We are looking for an experienced Senior Organisation Development Consultant to join a progressive People & Organisational Development team at Imperial College who will relish the challenge to make a difference!

Some of the important aspects of your role will be, identifying opportunities to improve organisational impact through applying whole system thinking, enabling groups to explore ambiguous and emotive topics through your advanced facilitation and relational skills and by delivering innovative and inclusive learning solutions to meet the evolving needs of Finance, Estates Campus Services, Academic and Professional Services and the Business School.
Duties and responsibilities
As the Senior OD Consultant aligned to the areas of Finance, Estates Campus Services, Academic and Professional Services and the Business School you will effectively and compassionately diagnose, and address the people and culture priorities by working in partnership with the strategic HR partners for these areas and alongside senior leaders, managers, ODI (Organisational development and inclusion) and HR colleagues at a strategic level. Some early priorities for this role are likely to be, implementing Values & behaviours, shaping and facilitating delivery of our Equality, diversity and inclusion priorities, providing change management support and addressing wellbeing and performance management priorities. You will also play a lead role in creating a coaching strategy and related provision. This role will provide line management and support to a POD coordinator and contribute to the centre offer by contributing to the design and/or delivery of L&D interventions.
Essential requirements
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
A Master’s level professional qualification in organisation development, organisational psychology (or related topic) with substantial work experience in Learning & Organisational Development industry
An experienced Coach
Experience of providing high level OD support across a complex organisation - working in partnership to effectively scope and diagnose development needs that achieve business benefits, judging when to challenge, listen, advise and coach
Experience of designing and facilitating engaging and effective live and online learning experiences that achieve desired outcomes
Experience of facilitating multi-level groups to achieve multiple goals, creating a safe, inclusive space where people feel able to contribute and make progress together
