Human Resources (HR) is a critical partner, delivering prioritised value-add services that are pivotal to the University's success. The central EDI team are responsible for providing a specialist, effective and flexible service to staff and visitors and for providing advice and guidance to Student Services and the Faculty EDI teams. In addition, the team are accountable for delivering the University EDI Plan so that the institution provides a fully inclusive environment ensuring this a great place to work or study. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic HR Partner – EDI to join our high performing central EDI Team. Reporting to the Senior HR Partner - EDI, you will be responsible for the delivery and continual development of a successful and adaptable service. You will take responsibility for delivering key agreed areas of the University EDI Plan. Developing policies, training solutions and providing expert advice and guidance. You will have a good working knowledge of EDI across all aspects of inclusion, gaining insight and providing pragmatic workable solutions. You will be proactive in managing your own continuing professional development, particularly in UK Employment Legislation pertinent to the Equality Act 2010. In this role you will need excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build rapport and professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the institution.
