We are looking for a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our team located in Milford, DE! The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge and understanding of HR and be passionate about helping others. This is an exciting career opportunity that will enable you to practice skills you already have while developing and implementing new initiatives. Task in this position include but are not limited to: Assist in recruiting and retention, Conduct employee onboarding, Administer employee leave and benefit programs, Process bi-weekly payroll, Update and maintain HR database, Provide direct support to employees on various HR-related topics such as timesheet/compensation questions, benefits, etc., Accurately maintains legal compliance requirements including but not limited to: I-9, employment files, COBRA requirements and communications, FMLA records, workers compensation incident reports and benefit enrollment procedures and processes. Assist with development and revision of agency policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with employment laws and healthcare regulations. Enhance the employee experience by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities. This position requires excellent communications, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Experience processing payroll as well as database knowledge and experience.
We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and two or more years of HR experience; or Five years of HR experience and a PHR certification. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred, not required. Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
