Job Description:
The Human Resources Talent Manager leads the process of recruiting, selecting and developing professional staff positions for the College. This manager contributes to employee development, training and development, performance management, workforce planning, employee engagement, succession and retention. The HR Talent Manager supports the Associate Vice President in the classification and compensation decisions for the college.
Essential Functions:
Lead the process for job description creation, classification, and compensation and all aspects of the hiring process for professional staff in support of department and division leaders. Serve as primary liaison for professional staff hiring requests from submission up through offers of employment. Advise, recommend that execute technical changes to the college's Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Maintain records of EEO AF information for each search.
With the Associate Vice President for Human Resources, develop programs and lead college initiatives for employee supervisory training, leadership development, compliance training, skill development, employee engagement, performance management, and succession and workforce planning.
Support the Associate Vice President for Human Resources and colleagues with ongoing departmental projects, policy revisions, compensation/classification plan revisions and other key departmental objectives.

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree is required
Minimum of 1 year human resources experience in higher education
Experience in three of these four HR functions required: recruitment, classification, compensation or professional development.
Experience in performance appraisals, employee engagement preferred.
PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred
Intermediate level of proficiency using Google Suite and MS Office Professional is required
Intermediate level of proficiency with Applicant tracking systems is required
Intermediate level of proficiency using Banner ERP is preferred
Ability and willingness to provide excellent service and to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential.
Additional Information:
