THE TEAM
The ZEO Success team (aka Human Resources) is focused on ensuring the success of every ZEO. We are a people first organization. We partner with the Zuora leadership team to deliver market leading talent programs to attract, reward and retain top talent. The ZEO Success team plays a key role in driving Zuora’s success.
YOUR MISSION:
Develop a world class HR Operations group that will help Zuora and the ZEO Success team scale and be wildly successful.
THE OPPORTUNITY (AKA: Why you want this role over any other out there)
We are a small but mighty ZEO Success team. Zuora has a bright future and the ZEO Success team will be a key contributor to that success. This role will be a critical part of ensuring the ZEO Success team is able to deliver on their commitments and allow us to scale as the company grows to $1B. You will have the opportunity to develop an HR Ops and Shared Services team. We are a Workday shop as our core HR platform. Payroll is run in Finance using ADP in the US and third party solutions internationally. We have several other solutions in place to help with other HR functions such as benefits enrollment and focal cycles. You will have the opportunity to evolve our ecosystem and help establish a world class Operations team.
WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
Plan and lead the review of our workflows and processes by partnering with peers in and outside of ZEO Success to make them efficient and scalable
Collaborate with ZEO Success leaders to generate the first ever Zuora global employee handbook
Partner with our HRBPs (“ZEO Success Partners”, “ZSPs”) to develop a world class Shared Services group.
Implementation of a global HR ticketing system and knowledge base solution
Establish the ZEO Success Operations team as a key function within the ZS team.
Own and evolve the ZS team’s analytics capabilities by partnering with key stakeholders
Compliance administration (e.g., SOX audits, records management, ZEO training)
As this is a globally focused role you will have the opportunity to impact many regions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Ideal candidates have 8-10 years of progressively complex HR operations and shared services leadership experience, in a rapidly growing enterprise SW or SaaS company (preferred). Has demonstrated competencies, skills and achievements to deliver results as follows:
Valued as a leader and trusted advisor with our client groups, and a team player who collaborates and partners effectively with our ZEO Success colleagues.
A global citizen and creative thinker who is strong, proactive and tenacious; a credible activist on strategic and organization decisions while leading others to “move the ball down the field”
Inspirational role model in leveraging HR metrics/data to facilitate, influence and drive people and business decisions
Experience with Workday (preferred)
Helped prior HR teams develop their analytics / HR people metrics.
Effectively communicates and presents, both verbally and in writing with all levels of leaders
Breadth and depth developing, leading and managing global strategic initiatives, e.g., establish new workflows, supporting adoption of new responsibilities as processes change
Demonstrates expert HR knowledge with an “outside in” perspective, e.g., best practices of peer companies, etc.
