Location: Co. Donegal
Type of role: permanent, part time position
Working hours: 30h/week, Mon-Friday.
No nights, no long shifts, no weekends.
Reporting to: Operations Manager

Your position:
As a Service Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that best practice dementia specific care is available to all the clients in Day Care/ Daycare at home service. You will provide and promote a model of care which is person centred, community focused and has an appreciation of the needs of the carer. You will be responsible for managing and guiding all the staff required to run the service. You will be responsible for health and safety and administration of the service.
To be successful in this role you will have experience in Human Resource Management, Financial management, Quality standards and risk management. You will have good communication skills, be open and enthusiastic, have a positive attitude, lead by example, make staff feel valued, and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Your profile:
Third level qualifications in Business or Nursing
Min 3 years experience working in a similar position, ideally within healthcare sector.
Experience of working with people with complex needs in a variety of different situations.
Team Leading / Staff management experience essential
Excellent time management skill and planning ability required
Full driving licence and own car required (expenses paid)
Excellent communication skills
