Addison Group’s client is seeking an Employee Relations Coordinator to join their team in Washington DC! The ideal candidate will have 2 years of HR/employee relations experience and excellent multitasking skills. This contract-to-hire position is currently hybrid (two days on-site).
Job Description:
Provide administrative support to multiple teams by scheduling meetings and events
Act as the first point of contact for the team
Answer questions, resolve issues, direct calls, and provide assistance to customers
Maintain detailed databases, records, and files
Run and distribute reports to track trends in employee relations cases
Track requests for information forms from unemployment agencies
Ensure all forms are completed and meet deadlines
Assist in verifying employment
Communicate with payroll to provide information
Assist with I9s and other onboarding paperwork
Qualifications:
BA/BS
2-3 years of administrative experience
HR or education experience preferred
Multitasker with great ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to determine when to escalate tasks to different departments
Self-starter with extreme attention to detail
Ability to utilize resources and problem-solve independently
Extremely professional with great written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proof of vaccination is required. The pay-rate is $17-20/hour. This position is a hybrid schedule giving the opportunity to choose which two days you’d like to work on-site.
