As an AVP of Organizational Effectiveness & Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for leading and designing operational performance improvement initiatives. You will also oversee communication with the sales organization, including implementing content and media platforms. This position also focuses on advisor engagement, strategic planning coordination, and quality assurance program management.
The primary purpose of the job is to
Leads Region, District and Advisor engagement for VFA sales practice management and field operational performance improvement initiatives.
Design, Build, Lead implementation and maintain VFA operational training for both the field and home office.
Oversee VFA communication with the sales organization.
Implement VFA communication media platforms and content including approved sales and advertising literature.
Agile leader for new initiatives that span different verticals to ensure cross-functional consistency within VFA
Develop, implement and create a framework for continuous assessment of compliance and regulatory related initiatives to ensure consistency and adoption across both home office and distribution related to VFA business activities
Management of QA processes to create and maintain value stream documentation for VFA processes, identifying operational waste and championing technical and business process improvements and business case delivery for funding where necessary.
Coordination and lead to identify root cause and process improvement plans across business disciplines
Development of implementation planning for new and enhanced platforms and processes in coordination with systems, transformation, operations, and product units
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
10 years job related experience
Experience in highly regulated financial services industry, specifically within a retail broker-dealer
Understanding of regulatory requirements under SEC, FINRA, and DOL
Series 24, 7, 63/65 preferred
Must be able to obtain licenses within 120 days of start date
Understanding of industry standards related to workflow, supervision, client onboarding aspects of advisor and client experience expectations
Ability to handle fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and delivering a consistent track record of meeting deadlines
