As an ER Consultant to colleagues and managers, you will have a variety of interactions with managers and colleagues including responding to queries and issues related to HR policies and processes. This role operates fairly independently to organize priorities and resolve issues. They interact with HR Business Partners, General Counsel, Compliance and other interdependent functions to determine appropriate course of action and bring queries and issues to closure. What will your day look like?Performance Management: Provides advice and counsel on performance management issues. Partners with the colleague, manager and other business leaders to address performance gaps and facilitates discussions/ process to assess appropriate action. Provides coaching to managers on all aspects of performance including delivering feedback effectively and improving performance. Workforce Relations: Conducts investigations independently and brings to closure following appropriate protocol and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Policy/ Procedure/ Employment Practices and Laws: Responds to complex questions about HR policy/process. Supports managers in interpreting and applying HR policies to high risk situations. Rewards: Consult with managers on base pay, bonus and recognition programs for individuals and teams. Assists managers in utilizing rewards programs to motivate and recognize teams for their contribution. Required skill and experience:5 years of HR experience in employee relations in roles such as business partner, employee relations specialist, or generalist.Prior experience in conducting workplace investigations.Experience in establishing and managing relationships with senior leadership.We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
