Recruiting Assistant
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a contract Recruiting Assistant, which will be responsible for locating (sourcing) and performing the initial qualifications screening of job applicants. You may also participate in other candidate qualification and selection tasks as part of a high-volume Recruiting team that supports multiple locations for our Global Operations division. As part of the Global Operations Recruiting team your screening of candidates is an important first step in our candidate evaluation process for the client's roles. Your sourcing and screening work will feed our interview pipeline to allow us to meet high-volume, recurring hiring needs for our production areas across multiple US locations.
Responsibilities:
Source resumes
Conduct phone screens with candidates
Participate in developing creative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates by utilizing established networks and creating your own candidate pipelines
Promote a positive candidate experience through predictable, professional, and friendly candidate touch points
Use your creativity to devise original solutions to everyday problems
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
Desired Background/Skills:
Ability to work independently and juggle changing priorities
Self motivated with ability to conduct high volume phone calls
Qualifications:
One year in a corporate recruiting or staffing agency recruiting role.
Desire to grow into other Recruiting or other Human Resources roles
Professional and friendly communications skills to conduct effective phone screens and clearly relay key job requirements to applicants.
Ability to learn and then accurately describe the work environment, culture, benefits and other company details to applicants.
