BASIC PURPOSE: As a member of the Senior Executive team, this senior level Vice President of HR position reports to the president and is responsible for leading all Human Resource functions throughout the Love's Family of Companies. This position is similar in scope to a CHRO or Executive Vice President in other organizations.
Love's is one of the largest and most successful privately held companies in the country and employs more than 32,000 nationwide with 1500 in the corporate office in Oklahoma City and another 150 in Houston. It operates nearly 600 travel stops and country stores nationwide, is one of the leading food service providers in the country and the family of companies includes Musket, Speedco, Love's Financial, Gemini Motor Transport, and Trillium, a leading provider of CNG and other sustainable, alternative and clean energy fueling stations. The company is growing and innovating throughout the highway hospitality industry and includes operations within total truck care, tire retreading facilities, hotels, RV parks, and storage facilities. This role is based at the corporate office in Oklahoma City, OK.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Leads human capital management across the company including: *Talent Acquisition and retention *Learning and Development *Employee Relations *Talent and performance management *Succession planning *Organizational design and development *Executive compensation and all levels of total rewards, compensation and benefit practices *Change management *Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*Education:
*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required *MBA preferred *SPHR and SHRM certification preferred
*Experience: (at least 10 years in senior leadership in the following areas)
*A large company with responsibilities in multiple states, preferably nationwide *A dynamic, successful, and high growth company *Operational and commercial responsibilities managing large teams *Expertise implementing effective HR best practices in the areas of inclusion, diversity, and equity *Expertise in maintaining HR compliance with applicable laws *Retail / Restaurant or other direct operations experience with P&L responsibilities preferred *Global experience a plus
