Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Leads the Service Delivery team and the operational execution for all talent, pre-boarding and learning services, processes and program events including team oversight for responding to employee and HR service ticket requests and management of level 2 escalations.
Leads the effort to build a 'catching' organization during the transition, define immediate and future support needs, service models and operational frameworks.
Provides leadership for transitional team during interim transitional period. Scope of service includes the following HR specialty service areas: talent management, pre-boarding, talent acquisition and learning, related learning systems help desk, problem escalations, etc.
Provides thought leadership for and manages execution of:
Service Performance
- Establish, Refine and Monitor KPI performance, variance commentary and actions to improve through established LEAN routines (e.g. MOR)
Quality Assurance
- Oversee key inputs/outputs to proactively identify and resolve issues
Vendor Relationship Management
- Strategically lead quarterly reviews with vendors to drive performance, strengthen collaborative efforts and delivery of shared success
Annual Events
- Ensure annual event readiness (operations, technology, audience)
Audit and compliance
– Manage delivery of process changes in response to audit and compliance issues
Direct and Indirect Team Leadership
- Manage, coach and develop direct reports and support teams in the execution and delivery of their operational services by modeling a culture of continuous improvement regarding HR Operational customer focus and process delivery.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of experience).
Minimum of 5 years in HR & HR Operations Service Delivery
Demonstrated experience leading a global functional team.
Desired Characteristics:
Experience in HR Talent areas including talent acquisition, talent management and learning strongly preferred.
Experience in providing independent technical guidance and counsel to HR stakeholders at various level of experience and hierarchy in the organization. Ability to adapt advisory style and tailor final products to target audiences.
Strong consultative skills and ability to communicate difficult concepts. Ability to influence, advise and guide others through options and points of view.
Ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
Ability to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems; logical, structured and process-orientated thinking
Detail and numerical orientated with eye for detail and confidence to challenge and ask questions
Strong oral and written communication skills; articulate, adaptable, with excellent inter-personal and cross-cultural skills.
Strong leadership skills; ability to lead teams as well as programs/ projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs; established project management skills
Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge and develop others through coaching and mentoring
Good Excel, Word and PowerPoint; quick adaptability to systems, tools and processes
Pay and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $149,300-248,800. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
